Based in Los Angeles, Southern California, we specialize in designing, building and maintaining custom planters as well as offering expert garden maintenance and horticultural consult. We are passionate about growing healthy plants and building bio-diverse ecosystems, with a focus on edibles and California natives. We love to share our passion and knowledge with our community.
Our mission is to connect the people of Los Angeles with the primary source of our wellbeing: our gardens.
We take pride in the quality and aesthetics of our handbuilt garden items and maintain organic gardening practices throughout all of our projects.
Founded in 2025 by Reinder Oldenburger, PRIMARY GARDENS brings a unique approach to garden design. His Horticultural training from UCLA and professional background in the arts informs our philosophy that gardens should not only thrive ecologically but also resonate with beauty and creativity.
